Sponsored Post: This post is sponsored by Navitas Organics, but the content and opinions expressed are all based on my genuine love for this brand and are my own. Thanks so much for supporting the brands I love.

Honestly, I’d rather turn down a company that doesn’t coincide with what I stand for and of course I often already use that company’s product so that I can ensure that you’ll love it too. With that being said, I’m a huge fan of Navitas Organics and often use so most of their products. Navitas Organics has so many great options when it comes to eating healthy and this Turmeric Powder is one of the greatest ingredients to incorporate into your daily eating regimen. And this 5-Ingredient Turmeric 'Wake Up' Smoothie is so good, refreshing, and jam-packed with nutrients. Truly, the perfect trio!

In case you aren’t too familiar, Navitas Organics has an array of options which include Cacao, Goji Berries, Maca Powder, Superfood blends, Turmeric, Chia Seeds, Mulberry Berries, and so much!

In addition, they have Latte mixes, Powder Boosts, Power Snacks, and more.

Ingredients including Navitas organic turmeric powder, sliced bananas, and frozen peaches.

When it comes to smoothies, I am the ultimate fan of a delicious meal in a glass! Yup. Easy, quick, and personalized favor is my middle name. Haha.

If you’ve been an avid reader of Orchids + Sweet Tea, then you know that we’ve been boosting up our drinks category, especially healthy drinks. When it comes to making drinks, I truly enjoy experimenting with bold flavors and different combinations, as long as they taste great of course!

I recently made this Pear Ginger Lemon + Thyme Drink which is the perfect balance between tart and sweet. Made with a simple pear, ginger-thyme syrup along with fresh lemon juice, naturally sweetened, hints of warm spices and garnished pear slices and thyme leaves, this homemade drink will leave you feeling refreshed on any given day. All vegan ingredients. Can be enjoyed warm or cold.

As I’ve mentioned in my previous post on The Best Healthy Sugar Alternatives + Substitutes, Bananas work as a great sweetener, especially in smoothies. This is one of my favorite sweeteners to use because of it’s healthy benefits and the fact that once it’s really ripened—no sugar is needed.

Honestly, at one point, I drank smoothies DAILY, which meant that my Vitamix Blender worked over time. Haha.

But of course, I know that many of you are participating in healthy eating habits for January and making smoothies as a meal substitute is the easiest of all options to keep you motivated and ready!

The Best Part About It All?

I couldn’t be more excited to share another recipe in collaboration with Navitas Organics. If you’ve been an avid follower of Orchids + Sweet Tea, then you’re aware that I chose my collaborations with brands VERY carefully, because I want to ensure that they represent this blog’s mission in every way possible.

Why Turmeric Powder?

For one, Navitas Organics' Turmeric Powder is contains high amount of curcumin, which boasts of amazing anti-inflammatory properties.

Turmeric is the spice that gives curry it’s yellow hue. That’s right—it creates that bright yellow color all on it’s own.

The only downside is that curcumin is present at a very low rate in turmeric, therefore, the best way to gain the full benefits of this ingredient is to take supplements with high contents of curcumin, specifically---which is what makes Navitas Organics such a great option!

WHAT YOU’LL LOVE MOST ABOUT THIS SMOOTHIE?!

  • It's super easy to make.
  • Only requires a small amount of ingredients---Literally ONLY FIVE!
  • Perfect as a meal substitute for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a healthy snack.
  • Not too sweet, but perfectly sweet!
  • All vegan ingredients and NATURALLY sweetened.
  • Just too delicious to pass up.

But of course, living a healthy lifestyle is a lot more than just in the way that we eat. It also matters how active we remain, how we get rid of toxins, mental health, and so much more.
