Ingredients for Peach-Ginger Mocktails
You don't need a long list of ingredients for this non-alcoholic drink. Here's what you need:
Ginger beer. Choose a high-quality ginger beer with nice gingery pep.
Peach preserves. I love the Bonne Maman.
Maple syrup. Use the real stuff for the best flavor.
Serving Suggestions
I love to pack my glasses full of pretty edible garnishes when I make mocktails. For this one, I recommend:
Sliced strawberries
Fresh rosemary or another herb, like thyme
Sliced peaches
Other Sweeteners
If you don't have or like maple syrup, you can certainly use a different sweetener. I recommend a liquid like honey or agave. If the ginger beer itself is sweet enough for you, leave it unsweetened.
What to Serve with This Ginger Mocktail
You can sip this drink at any time of day all on its own. However, it's also delicious paired with food. I like to embrace the fruitiness and serve this mocktail with a fresh menu like:
In a bowl, add the ginger beer, peach preserves, and maple syrup, mixing everything together until combined and the preserves mostly dissolves. NOTE: Add additional sweetener depending on sweetness desired.
To Make Mocktails: Add crushed ice to glass, add the peach ginger beer mixture until glass is ¾ filled. For additional garnish, add sliced strawberries, sliced peaches, and fresh rosemary sprigs. Repeat for every serving if making more.
Sip and Enjoy!
Tips & Tricks
SWEETENER: Instead of maple syrup, you can substitute with Agave or organic cane sugar as a syrup (sugar + water boiled over the stove top).FRESH HERB GARNISH: Instead of rosemary leaves, you can substitute with mint leaves or basil leaves.
