To inspire means to uplift, encourage, affect, stimulate, and stir the spirit in some way.
An intricate part of Wellness–the mind, is often overlooked or malnourished because it is something that we cannot see tangibly. However, this invisible member has the most impact on our overall health and well-being. That’s why I chose to create an entire corner on Orchids + Sweet Tea to help aid us on this Journey of Love (regardless of whichever aspect chosen) so that we have a place to lay our heads and speak into our lives with positive affirmations that we so desperately need some days.
Personally, I’ve written quotes on post-it notes, sticking them any and everywhere (throughout my house) that I find that I spend parts of my day, as a way to keep my eyes focused on what’s ahead and not behind or around me. So, think of this corner as a glimpse into my room full of post-its, which I’ll updated periodically to keep us going!
