What Are The Health Benefits Of Tuna?

Tuna isn't just delicious; it's also packed with health benefits --- It's a fantastic source of high-quality protein, supplying essential amino acids that help build and repair muscles. Plus, tuna is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which support heart health and brain function by reducing inflammation.

In addition to its protein and omega-3 content, tuna contains essential vitamins and minerals like vitamin D, vitamin B12, selenium, and iron, all crucial for overall health!

What Is The Best Type Of Tuna To Use?

For the best flavor, I prefer using wild-caught solid white albacore tuna packed in water. It's got a nice mild taste and holds up well in salads. But chunk light tuna works too, especially if you're watching your budget. And if you're feeling fancy, canned tuna packed in olive oil adds a nice richness. It's all about what you prefer!
