How To Make Dairy-Free Jalapeno Ranch Sauce

With just a handful of simple ingredients and a quick blend in a good high-powered blender, you can create a rich + luscious spicy ranch dressing/sauce that's perfect for saladssandwiches, and much more!

To top your delicious veggie salad, taco, burger, sandwich, or whatever else and add a bit of heat, make a dairy-free Jalapeno Ranch sauce/dressing with:

  • Vegan mayonnaise. I love using Follow Your Heart Veganaise . It is super creamy and smooth but feel free to add your fave if you prefer.
  • Almond milk. Helps to make the sauce creamier. You can use your fave plant-based milk. Learn how to make homemade almond milk!
  • Garlic. A strong and pungent flavor that adds depth!
  • Jalapeño. Our spicy delicious powerhouse!
  • Fresh herbs. Cilantro + parsley + dill. You can also use dried herbs instead!
  • Garlic + onion powder. Adds an umami flavor.
  • Pinch of sea salt + black pepper. Rounds out the flavors!

Ingredients

SAUCE:

  • 1 cup vegan mayonnaise
  • ½ cup Almond milk, unsweetened (You can use your fave plant-based milk)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 jalapeño, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh or dried cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon fresh or dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon dill
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Pinch of sea salt + black pepper

Instructions

TO MAKE THE SAUCE:

  • Add the vegan mayo, milk, garlic cloves, jalapeños, cilantro, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt + black pepper to a high-powered blender and blend until smooth, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Add dressing/sauce to your favorite mason jar or tightly sealed container and refrigerate for 7-10 days for optimal freshness.
