How to Make a Peach Cobbler Milkshake

Start by sautéing your peaches and preparing the crumble topping. Then, add all the ingredients to a high-powered blender and blend on medium-high speed until smooth, about 1-2 minutes. Once you achieve a milkshake consistency, pour it into tall glasses. Top each milkshake with a generous dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of crumble, if desired.

Ingredients

SAUTEED PEACHES:

  • Peaches. You can use either canned organic sliced peaches, drained or you can use about 1-2 peaches, slicing them medium-thin.
  • Butter. Use unsalted for the best flavor control.
  • Brown sugar. This will help the peaches caramelize.
  • Vanilla extract. Use pure vanilla extract for the best vanilla flavor.
  • Spices. Ground cinnamon + nutmeg.

MILKSHAKE:

  • Vanilla ice cream. I love Ben & Jerry's or Haagen Dazs. For a dairy-free option, my all-time FAVE is So Delicious.
  • Cooled sautéed peaches.
  • Almond milk. You can use whole milk or your fave plant-based milk.

CRUMBLE TOPPING:

  • Flour. I use all-purpose flour for the creation of the topping. For the gluten-free option, use a high-quality GF flour from Bob's Red Mill or King Arthur.
  • Brown sugar. Ensure that it's organic for healthiest option. You can use either light or dark. You can substitute with brown coconut sugar for a healthier option.
  • Unsalted butter. Melted.
  • Ground cinnamon.

GARNISH TOPPINGS:

  • Whipped cream. You can use store-bought or homemade!
  • Drizzle from sautéed peaches.

Can I Use Another Milk For This Peach Cobbler Milkshake?

Absolutely, you can use any milk you like to make this delicious peach milkshake. While almond milk is great, I know many are allergic to nuts or just not fans. Opt for your favorite store-bought or homemade vegan dairy-free milk, or regular milk if you prefer! Here are some simple recipes to make your own milk that's cheaper and super easy!

Can I Make Peach Cobbler Milkshake Vegan?

Yes! To make this milkshake recipe vegan or dairy-free, simply ensure that your vanilla ice cream is dairy-free. Also, make sure that you use plant-based milk, vegan butter, and coconut whipped cream

How to Easily Peel Fresh Peaches

If you decide while making this peach cobbler milkshake that you'd prefer to peel the skins off your peaches----no worries! A great hack to do so is to gently lower a few peaches at a time (best to use a skimmer) into a pot of boiling water and leave them in fro 20-30 seconds before removing them and into an ice bath to stop the "cooking process". Then you should be able to peel them with no problem without the need for a knife or any tool.

Peach Cobbler Milkshake Q + A's

How to best store leftovers?

Best if consumed right away. If not, ensure that the milkshake is stored in an air-tight container or mason jar and kept in the freezer. To thaw out, remove the milkshake from freezer and place in the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes for a creamy consistency.

Can I add protein powder?

Absolutely! Adding protein powder is a great way to boost the nutritional content of the milkshake and make it more filling.

Can I make the milkshake thicker or thinner?

Yes, you can adjust the consistency by adding more or less milk. For a thicker milkshake, use less milk, and for a thinner consistency, add more milk.

Can I skip the crumble topping?

Sure! The milkshake is delicious on its own, but the crumble adds a nice texture and flavor that complements the peachy goodness.

How can I make this peach milkshake gluten-free?

Simply use gluten-free flour for making the topping, my fave is from Bob's Red Mill. And ensure your ice cream of choice is gluten-free too!

Craving something that combines the cozy comfort of peach cobbler with the creamy indulgence of a milkshake? This Peach Cobbler Milkshake recipe is the ultimate treat—packed with fruity sweetness, crunchy cobbler goodness, and a rich, creamy texture. It’s like summer in a glass! Dairy-free + Vegan Options.
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 15 minutes
Serves: 2 servings

Ingredients

SAUTEED PEACHES:

  • 1 (15 oz.) can organic sliced peaches, drained (You can use about 1-2 peaches, slicing them medium-thin)
  • 2 Tbsps unsalted butter
  • ½ cup organic brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon (You can purchase my Dessert Lover Blend for authentic flavor as a sub for cinnamon + nutmeg)
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg

MILKSHAKE:

  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • cooled sautéed peaches
  • 1 ½ cups Almond milk (You can use whole milk or your fave plant-based milk)

CRUMBLE TOPPING:

  • ½ cup organic all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup organic brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsps unsalted butter, partially melted
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon (You can purchase my Dessert Lover Blend for authentic flavor)

GARNISH TOPPINGS:

  • 1 cup Whipped cream
  • Drizzle from sautéed peaches

Instructions

TO MAKE THE SAUTED PEACHES:

  • In a medium (10-inch) skillet over medium-high heat, add the butter and heat until melted. Add the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla and stir until combined and everything begins to bubble a bit, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Add the sliced peaches and toss until well coated and cook for another 3-4 minutes, until tender and the sauce has thickened. Remove from heat. NOTE: For more tender peaches (if using fresh), you can cook for an extra 4-5 minutes or so, but be sure to reduce the heat to medium-low. Cool completely!

TO MAKE THE CRUMBLE TOPPING:

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, add the flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon, stirring until combined. Add the melted butter and using a spatula, mix until combined and 'crumbly-like'.
  • Add to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown and crunchy in texture.

TO MAKE THE MILKSHAKE:

  • Add the ice cream, milk, vanilla, and cooled sautéed peaches (saving a little of the sauce for later) to a high-powered blender and blend on medium-high speed, until smooth, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Once milkshake consistency is met, pour milkshake into tall glass(es), and top each milkshake with whipped cream, crumble topping, and drizzle from sautéed peaches, if desired.
  • Add a straw and sip away and enjoy!
