It’s no secret that I’m absolutely obsessed with peaches, and peach cobbler is one of my all-time favorites. The other day I thought, why not turn that classic dessert into a milkshake? And y'all I have to be honest --- The best part of my job is that I get to experiment with these delicious ideas! Haha. This Peach Cobbler Milkshake is creamy, thick, and bursting with sweet peachy goodness with a drool-worthy crumble topping!
It’s quickly become one of my top peach cobbler creations, alongside my Peach Cobbler Dump Cake and Peach Cobbler Baked French Toast. It’s packed with all the cozy flavors from sautéed peaches, cinnamon, vanilla + nutmeg, with a perfect touch of caramelization. These shakes are absolutely delicious—just what you need to cool off and enjoy a sweet treat.
Milkshakes have this magical way of bringing out the kid in me every time! To keep things a bit lighter, I prefer using almond milk, but feel free to use any milk you like. And for a vegan option, you can easily swap in your favorite vegan ice cream or whip up some homemade no-churn ice cream!

Start by sautéing your peaches and preparing the crumble topping. Then, add all the ingredients to a high-powered blender and blend on medium-high speed until smooth, about 1-2 minutes. Once you achieve a milkshake consistency, pour it into tall glasses. Top each milkshake with a generous dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of crumble, if desired.

Absolutely, you can use any milk you like to make this delicious peach milkshake. While almond milk is great, I know many are allergic to nuts or just not fans. Opt for your favorite store-bought or homemade vegan dairy-free milk, or regular milk if you prefer! Here are some simple recipes to make your own milk that's cheaper and super easy!
Yes! To make this milkshake recipe vegan or dairy-free, simply ensure that your vanilla ice cream is dairy-free. Also, make sure that you use plant-based milk, vegan butter, and coconut whipped cream
If you decide while making this peach cobbler milkshake that you'd prefer to peel the skins off your peaches----no worries! A great hack to do so is to gently lower a few peaches at a time (best to use a skimmer) into a pot of boiling water and leave them in fro 20-30 seconds before removing them and into an ice bath to stop the "cooking process". Then you should be able to peel them with no problem without the need for a knife or any tool.
Best if consumed right away. If not, ensure that the milkshake is stored in an air-tight container or mason jar and kept in the freezer. To thaw out, remove the milkshake from freezer and place in the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes for a creamy consistency.
Absolutely! Adding protein powder is a great way to boost the nutritional content of the milkshake and make it more filling.
Yes, you can adjust the consistency by adding more or less milk. For a thicker milkshake, use less milk, and for a thinner consistency, add more milk.
Sure! The milkshake is delicious on its own, but the crumble adds a nice texture and flavor that complements the peachy goodness.
Simply use gluten-free flour for making the topping, my fave is from Bob's Red Mill. And ensure your ice cream of choice is gluten-free too!

This was so cool! The flavors are super yummy and it’s so satisfying!
Full disclosure, I built on Shanika’s brilliant recipe to create a peach cobbler lassi, because we didn’t have ice cream but we DID have plain yogurt. Still worked like a charm! I subbed the ice cream for unsweetened yogurt 1:1, had to add an extra 1/2 cup of milk to loosen up the consistency. In case anyone else wants to try it, I made a few more additions to make it a lassi-fusion: Couple big pinches of salt, about a teaspoon of rose water… oh and for the sautéed peaches, I also added 1/4 tsp ground cardamom. We skipped the whipped cream but the lassi was plenty thick enough to hold up the crumble and syrup. I think that without these changes it would be more smoothie-like, and then I would’ve needed to think about upping the sweetness to match the sugar from the ice cream.
Anyway, this recipe was just such a fun idea and I was really glad I found it today, since I had extra streusel from something else and needed to use quote some peaches. Next time we have ice cream and peaches, I wanna try making the original milkshake version. Thanks for sharing!
