This fabulous Salted Caramel Chunky Milkshake is a real sweet treat. Incredibly velvety, smothered with caramel sauce, and little bits of chocolate chunks, this recipe is every bit of “heaven in a glass”. Super easy to make and can be whipped together in less than 10 minutes.
Much like my favorite Vegan Peanut Butter + Pecan Milkshake, this milkshake recipe is so amazing! Usually, I’m not the one who requests a glass of milkshake!
Funny thing is, I’ve always thought that milkshakes weren’t the thing that brought REAL satisfaction. Haha. But I stand corrected.
Now that I make my own milkshakes, I am a believer! Plus, I love being able to choose my personal favorite ice creams (like Talenti the brand) to include in my milkshake.
Secondly, I enjoy making my own milkshakes because I am able to fully customize the ingredients.
As many of you may know, I enjoy drinking coconut milk (from So Delicious) as opposed to dairy milk, so being in control of the ingredients makes this milkshake that much better!
Now that it’s officially April, I am so excited to begin my Spring baking. Who’s with me? My Easter weekend was great!
I spent a lot of time with my in-laws, which was so fun! My two guys (hubby + little one) and I went to New Jersey, which was a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of NYC. Out of state is such a relaxing experience and the environment and people are so much more laid-back.
The air seems crisper, there are a ton more trees and grass space, and we saw deers! Haha. Such a different element. Plus, we got a chance to eat around at different restaurants while we were there and the foods are so GOOD!
Unlike most of the foods in NYC, the foods in New Jersey are made to order and cooked slowly, therefore, the quality is so much better. Overall, we had a real blast!
Now for this recipe, you start by adding the ice cream (your favorite brand that makes Salted Caramel or similar flavor), a few chunks of chopped chocolate pieces, and your favorite non-dairy milk to a blender and blend on medium-high speed, until smooth.
Place in the refrigerator until ready to use. In the meantime, grab your cups and add a few spoons of caramel sauce along side the inside of the glass.
The pour in your milkshake and top with whipped cream (store bought or homemade). Repeat until all cups are used. Garnish with additional caramel sauce and chocolate chips or shavings, and sea salt (if desired).
Wallah!
