Ingredients

SIMPLE SYRUP:

  • 1 ¼ cup filtered water
  • ¼ cup organic cane sugar

MIMOSA MOCKTAILS:

  • 1 cup freshly-squeezed orange juice
  • 1 cup cooled simple syrup
  • Champagne alternative, for topping (I love using Tost Beverages for sparkling)
  • orange slices
  • mint leave sprigs, optional
  • fresh raspberries, for garnish
  • crushed or cubed ice

Instructions

TO MAKE THE SIMPLE SYRUP:

  • In a saucepan over medium-high heat, add together the water and sugar (stirring them to combine) and bring to a boil, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Reduce the heat to low and simmer for another 1-2 minutes or so. Remove from heat and let it cool completely.

TO MAKE THE MIMOSA MOCKTAILS:

  • For each mocktail, fill a flute glass halfway with crushed ice, pour ¼ cup of orange juice followed by ¼ cup of the simple syrup mixture and top remaining with the champagne alternative. Top with fresh raspberries, mint leave sprigs and orange slices, if desired. Repeat until all mimosa mocktails are made!
  • Sip and Enjoy!

Notes

  • SERVING SIZE: To make additional mocktails, simply double or triple ingredients, depending on need.
  • ALCOHOL: If you'd like to spruce things up with alcohol, feel free to add 1 ounce of whiskey, rum, vodka, champagne, etc. For a more "cocktail-feel" without the alcohol, I love using Ritual Zero Proof alcohol alternatives.
  • OTHER GARNISHES: See post for more fancy mimosa garnish ideas, especially for special occasions like Mother's Day, etc!
