Ingredients

ICE CUBES:

  • 1 ½ cups filtered water
  • 1 large orange, freshly-squeezed
  • 1 cup diced oranges
  • handful of fresh thyme sprigs, roughly chopped

Instructions

TO MAKE THE ICE CUBES:

  • In a bowl, mix together the water and orange juice until combined.
  • In your favorite ice tray----add the diced oranges and chopped thyme sprigs into each cavity and carefully cover them with the orange-water mixture, filling them until all completely full. Repeat until all ice cube cavities are filled.

FREEZE THE CUBES:

  • Add the tray(s) to the freezer and freeze for 3-4 hours (or overnight) until ice is formed.
  • Add these ice cubes to your favorite drink, mocktail/cocktail, or my Orange Marmalade Ginger Mocktail, etc.
  • Sip and enjoy!

Notes

ADDITIONAL BOOST: To add a boost to make these ice cubes more powerful, you can add lemon juice, raw honey, or apple cider vinegar to the mix (1 teaspoon of either)!
