CHICKPEAS:
- 1 (15 oz.) can organic chickpeas, drained + rinsed
- 1-2 Tbsps Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, homemade or store-bought
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
TO MAKE THE ROASTED CHICKPEAS:
Begin by preheating the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and preparing a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, add the chickpeas, olive oil, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, and red pepper flakes, stirring to combine and fully coat chickpeas. Add the chickpeas onto the prepared baking sheet and arrange in a single layer so that they roast + crisp up evenly.
Bake chickpeas for 15-20 minutes or until chickpeas are crisp. Remove from oven.
