MILK:
- 4 cups Almond milk (You can use your fave plant-based milk; as well as whole milk if desired)
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, stems removed
- 2 Tbsps organic strawberry preserves/jam
- ⅓ cup pure maple syrup (Adjust sweetener based on preference)
TO MAKE THE STRAWBERRY MILK:
In a high-powered blender, add the milk, strawberries, strawberry preserves/jam and maple syrup, blending until smooth----about 1-2 minutes.
NOTE: If desired, you can strain the milk through a strainer if it appears "seedy" from the strawberries for the best smoothness in consistency.
Refrigerate milk (best if tightly sealed/covered) for 2-3 days for optimal freshness. Stir before serving, if needed.
Sip and Enjoy!
- STORAGE: When properly stored in the refrigerator (in an airtight container or jar), strawberry milk lasts for 2-3 days.
- SERVING SIZE: To make more, simply double or triple the measurement of ingredients, depending on your desired amount.
- SWEETENER: If maple syrup isn't desired, you can use dates, honey, organic cane sugar, Agave, or date syrup, instead as a sweetener.
- HOMEMADE STRAWBERRY JAM/COMPOTE: To make your own strawberry compote, see my Delicious Vegan Strawberry Shortcake recipe!
