Ingredients

GUACAMOLE:

  • 3 ripe organic Haas avocado
  • ½ red onion, chopped
  • 2 tomato-on-the-vine, diced (You can also use roma tomatoes)
  • 2-3 Tbsps fresh cilantro
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 lime, freshly-squeezed
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes

Instructions

TO MAKE THE GUACAMOLE:

  • Slice each avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the insides into a bowl. Using a fork, mash the avocado until as chunky or smooth as you'd like.
  • Add the chopped onions, diced tomatoes, fresh cilantro, garlic cloves, lime juice, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and red pepper flakes, stirring everything together to combine.
  • To serve, enjoy the guacamole with your favorite side like tortilla chips, flat bread, etc.

Notes

STORAGE: Place any leftovers in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
