These delicious Baked Salmon Sliders with BBQ Jerk Sauce are a must-have for the summer. They are perfectly small to act as a great appetizer for guests, a nice bite to eat for lunch, or perhaps a few good bites for dinner. Either way, these salmon sliders are loaded with flavor and spice, specifically from the BBQ Jerk sauce.
Start by adding the dijon mustard, old bay seasoning, bread crumbs, dried parsley, lemon zest, and black pepper to a medium bowl, mixing everything together well.
Add in the salmon chunks and using your hands, massage everything together until fully combined and coated.
Take about 1/3 cup of the salmon chunks mixture and pressing firmly, create a nicely flat burger patty. Repeat until you have about 8 salmon patties made.
Once all patties are made, add them to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake them in the pre-heated oven for 15-20 minutes, flipping them to their opposite sides at the half-way point.
Serve on lightly heated (using butter in a skillet) buns with a slice of purple onions, spinach, jalapeños, and a nice slab of BBQ Jerk sauce.
Bon Appetite!
