Ingredients

WHIPPED DALGONA COFFEE:

  • 2 Tbsps instant espresso powder or instant coffee
  • ¼ cups organic brown sugar
  • 2 cups crushed ice
  • ¼ cup filtered water
  • 2 tsps vanilla extract

LATTE:

  • 1 cup Oat milk, homemade or store-bought (You can use your fave plant-based milk)
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon, optional

Instructions

TO MAKE THE WHIPPED DALGONA COFFEE:

  • In a food processor, add the crushed ice, water, instant espresso/coffee, brown sugar, and vanilla, and process on high-speed, until perfectly smooth and whipped, about 8-10 minutes.
  • NOTE: If needed, scrape down the sides and continue to process until everything is fully whipped.

TO MAKE THE LATTE:

  • To serve, in your favorite 12 or 16-ounce glass, add a few dollops of whipped Dalgona coffee and pour the milk atop and do a light stir. Garnish with a pinch of cinnamon, if desired. Repeat for each serving!
  • Sip and enjoy!

Notes

  • WHIPPED DALGONA COFFEE (STORAGE): This recipe makes about 4 cups of whipped coffee. For any leftovers, simply store everything in an airtight container or mason jar and refrigerate for up to 3 days or so.
  • SWEETENER: You can adjust the level of sweetness of this latte depending on how sweet or unsweet you'd like for your latte to be.
  • SERVING SIZE: To make additional lattes, simply double or triple ingredients, depending on need. To make only 1 serving, simply reduce the ingredient measurements by ½.
  • WHAT PLANT-BASED MILKS ARE GOOD FOR THIS RECIPE? My go-to plant-based brand for Oat milk or plant-based milk when using store-bought is Ripple Foods. However, you can always use your fave or one of the following: Almondcoconut milk, homemade oat milk (froths/foams VERY WELL), sesame milk, homemade cashew milk, flax milk, potato milkquinoa milk, etc.
