Honey + Turmeric Iced Latte

This Honey + Turmeric Iced Latte is the perfect morning or afternoon sip to satisfy your coffee shop cravings this winter (and seasons beyond) with a burst of turmeric and honey flavors.

Ingredients

TURMERIC SHOTS:

  • 2 tsps turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 Tbsps boiling water

LATTE:

  • 2 tsps Turmeric shot
  • 1/2 cup cold brew
  • 1 1/2 cups oat milk, homemade or store-bought
  • 3-4 Tbsps raw honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • Crushed Ice cubes

OPTIONAL TOPPING:

  • Whipped cream (For dairy-free option, use Coconut whipped cream!)

Instructions

TO MAKE THE TURMERIC SHOT:

  • In a small cup or bowl, add the ingredients together and whisk until the mixture thickens.

MAKE THE LATTE:

  • To serve, fill ice into a 12 or 16-ounce glass and pour in the milk followed by the cold brew, vanilla, turmeric shot, honey, cinnamon, and ginger, stirring them together until the mixture becomes a light bright yellow color. Top with whipped cream (if desired).
  • Sip and enjoy!

Notes

  • WHAT PLANT-BASED MILKS ARE GOOD FOR THIS RECIPE? My go-to plant-based brand for Oat milk when using store-bought is the Forager Project. However, you can always use your fave or one of the following: Almond, coconut milk, homemade oat milk (froths/foams VERY WELL), homemade cashew milk, flax milk, etc.
  • SWEETENER: You can always use Agave syrup or pure maple syrup if you don't want to add honey. 
  • TURMERIC: For health benefits of using turmeric, ensuring that it is paired with black pepper, helps to aid in curcumin absorption.
