Ingredients

DRINK:

  • 2 cups Almond milk (You can use your fave plant-based milk!)
  • ½ cup pure maple syrup (You can substitute with organic cane sugar, brown sugar, or Meedjol dates, if desired)
  • 4 Tbsps Sea Moss Gel, store-bought or homemade
  • 4 Tbsps dairy-free condensed milk
  • 2 tsps vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • teaspoon ground allspice

Instructions

TO MAKE THE DRINK:

  • Add the sea moss gel, milk, vanilla, condensed milk, maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice to a high-powered blender and blend on medium-high speed, until smooth, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Once drink consistency is met, pour Irish Moss drink into your favorite glass(es), and top with a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg, if desired.
  • Sip and enjoy!

Notes

  • STORAGE: Store any leftovers in the refrigerator, tightly sealed or in a covered mason jar for up to 1 week. Freezer-friendly (See Post for details).
  • DATES: To soak, add dates to a small bowl with boiling water for 10 minutes or so. This softens it and hydrates them for a better blend.
  • ADDITIONAL OPTIONS: To create a kick of flavor or add nutrients to this drink, you can add any of the following: turmeric (about ¼ tsp), your favorite nut butter, chia seeds, flaxseed meal, cacao powder (about 1 Tbsp), or an additional sweetener such as Agave or Maple syrup. For extra creaminess, you can also add soaked cashews (½ cup).
  • SEA MOSS GEL: For details on how to make this from home, see post!
