You can now have your cookies and drink them, too! This Sugar Cookie Mocktail is a creamy, sweet, and unique drink that highlights the delights of a freshly baked sugar cookie. This recipe only takes 5 minutes and is perfect for non-drinkers, kids, or anyone else attending your holiday festivities! Vegan option.

Ingredients

MOCKTAIL:

  • 2 cups Almond milk, room temp. (You can use your fave plant-based milk!)
  • 1 teaspoon organic powdered sugar
  • 2 tsps Agave
  • ½ teaspoon almond extract
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup canned condense milk
  • 2 tsps cinnamon sugar cookie spice blend (I love using Primal Palate; See Notes!)

TOPPINGS:

  • Crushed ice
  • Whipped cream, homemade or storebought
  • Sugar cookie, crushed or whole (optional)
  • Festive sprinkles, for rim of glass (optional)

Instructions

  • In a bowl, whisk together all the mocktail ingredients until combined and smooth.
  • To decorate rim of glass(es): Grab your favorite 'mocktail/cocktail' glass (8 oz.or so), add festive sprinkles to the rim of the glass by slightly wetting the rim with water (or lemon juice) and then pressing slightly into the sprinkles which are laid out of a plate, swirling it a bit to ensure that they stick. Stand glass upward and let them dry for 1-2 minutes.
  • To serve: Add crushed ice (filling the glass halfway), followed by drink mixture (filling it close to the top), and topping with whipped cream and a freshly baked sugar, if desired.
  • Sip and Enjoy!

Notes

  • SWEETENER: Instead of Agave syrup, you can substitute with pure maple syrup.
  • SUGAR COOKIE: If you'd like to top your mocktail with a sugar cookie, be sure to check out my recipe for these Soft Oversized Crinkled Sugar Cookie. Just reduce size of cookies to fit glasses.
  • SPICE BLEND: If you don't have the Primal Palate spice blend on hand, simply substitute with ground cinnamon and a pinch of nutmeg.
