Ingredients

JUICE:

  • 2 cups filtered water
  • 1 Granny Smith apple, chopped (w/ skin)
  • ½ cup juice of an orange
  • ½ cup juice of a Grapefruit
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • cup Agave syrup (See Notes!)

Instructions

TO MAKE THE JUICE:

  • Add all ingredients to a high-powered blender and blend until smooth, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Adjust the amount of sweetener, depending on desired sweetness, adding 1 tablespoon more at a time, if needed.

STRAIN (IF NEEDED):

  • Be sure to strain the juice to remove all pulp, if needed. Grab a strainer and pour juice through, pressing in the pulp to release more liquids when needed. Repeat until all juice has been strained.
  • To serve—grab a glass and pour juice into each and grab a straw. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator, tightly sealed or in a covered mason jar, ensuring that you drink it within 2-3 days, for best taste and consistency.
  • Sip and enjoy!

Notes

  • SWEETENER: You can always use maple syrup, Vegan honey, or organic brown sugar as a substitute for Agave. For vegan honey—-Bee Free Honee, click link.
  • TURMERIC: For health benefits of using turmeric, ensuring that it is paired with black pepper, helps to aid in curcumin absorption.
