Blood Orange Strawberry Ginger Mocktail

This vibrant and fruity Blood Orange Strawberry Mocktail is the perfect citrus drink recipe to cool off outdoors or warm up indoors any time of year. Fresh, two kinds of citrus juice and ginger beer make the perfect bubbly treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups strawberries, stems removed + sliced
  • 1 cup grapefruit juice
  • ¼ cup juice of an orange
  • 3-4 Tbsps Agave syrup (See Notes!)
  • ginger beer, for topping

Optional Toppings:

  • Sliced strawberries
  • sliced blood orange
  • 4 fresh mint leaves

Instructions

  • In a bowl, add the fresh strawberries, grapefruit juice, and orange juice, mulling (crushing) everything together until strawberries are fully broken down. Add Agave and stir until combined. NOTE: Add additional sweetener if needed.
  • To Make Mocktails: Add crushed ice to glass(es), Add 3-4 Tbsps of mulled strawberries to bottom of glass, followed by ⅓ cup of mulled strawberry-citrus mixture and top with ginger beer until glasses are ¾ filled. For additional garnish, add sliced strawberries, sliced grapefruit, and mint leaves. Repeat for every serving. 
  • Sip and Enjoy!

Notes

SWEETENER: Instead of Agave syrup, you can substitute with pure maple syrup or organic cane sugar as a syrup (sugar + water boiled over the stove top).
ORANGE JUICE: Instead of using orange juice, you can always substitute with lemon or lime juice.
