OK, so it’s finally Friday and the weekend has arrived! Yay! I couldn’t be happier! What about you?
And to top things off, I get a chance to share this recipe with you guys! This was one of my favorite simple recipes because I’ve never really had cookie dough—at least not the edible version. If you’re like me, then eating some of your actual cookie dough from the bowl in between batches doesn’t count either. Haha!
In all honestly, my husband introduced me to edible cookie dough and I now understand why he’s such a fan. It’s GOOD ya’ll!
On a different note—I’m truly excited to be attending the TECHMunch Food Conference here in NYC next week. It’s such a great opportunity to meet other awesome food creators and bloggers! Plus, you get a front seat to some amazing Chefs and gain a lot of knowledge of the food industry. So exciting!
Moreover, I am so excited to be taking a Food Styling class so that I can learn the real mechanics of it. Honestly, I’m so proud of myself for what I’ve been able to do with food thus far when it comes to food styling (I have a real eye + passion for it), but there’s always room for improvement and taking Food Blogging seriously requires that I fully hone in on the craft and learn what I don’t know. So, I’ll leave off on this note—if there’s anything that you find passion in, just go for it and learn how to get better along the way. It’s in the the Journey where you learn and evolve. Don’t worry about perfecting it right away. The most important thing is that YOU START—flaws + all.
Of course, the best thing about these cookie dough bites are that they are completely dairy-free and vegan so I had a chance to enjoy them thoroughly.

However, if you’re not that into cookies and prefer something chocolate-y then these Vegan Chewy, Fudge Avocado Walnut Brownies and Vegan Fudge Zucchini Brownies with Pistachio will surely do the trick!
Now, let’s dig right into this edible cookie dough, shall we?
Begin by mixing the vegan butter sticks, organic brown sugar, and sea salt in the bowl of an electric mixer on medium-high speed, until fluffy.
Next, mix in the almond milk (or your favorite non-dairy milk), pure maple syrup, and vanilla extract, until well combined, about 1 minute. Reduce the speed to low and add in the organic all-purpose flour, mixing until well combined.
Now, turn off the electric mixer and fold in the vegan chocolate chips. **NOTE: If dough is too dry, add water (1 Tbsp at a time) until it’s becomes more moist.
Using your hands, create a small-medium dough ball (about 2 Tbsps big!) and repeat until all dough is used.
Refrigerate for 10 minutes (minimum) and grab a few bites and enjoy!
