Baked Cajun Honey Dijon Chicken Tenders. What is there more to say in all honesty?
I mean, these tenders are EVERYTHING.
Personally, I love a good chicken tender thats EXTRA CRISPY. I mean Crispy, CRISPY!
And these tenders are just that. My secret? Corn flakes. Yup. grinding up corn flakes instead of breadcrumbs makes things super crispy.
I figured that we’d kick off the middle of the week with a fun recipe that’s super easy and only requires a handful of ingredients.
I couldn’t be more excited to share this recipe with ya’ll. It’s such a flavorful dish and for those of you who follow Orchids + Sweet Tea regularly—you know that I’m all about flavor!
So of course, I couldn’t disappoint with recipe, regardless of how easy it is to make.
OK, so let’s talk about the Honey Mustard sauce for a sec?

OK, let’s dig right into this recipe shall we?
In a large bowl, add the chicken strips, sea salt, black pepper, + dried parsley, and honey dijon dressing together and toss well to coat. Let sit for at least 15 minutes.
Pre-heat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit and prep a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
In a separate large bowl, add the crushed corn flakes, flour, and cajun seasoning together and stir until well combined.
Now, take a piece of chicken, place it into the corn flake mixture, mixing it around and ensuring that it’s fully coated, and then place it onto the prepared baking sheet. Repeat until all strips are coated.
Lightly brush or spray tops of chicken with olive oil and bake them for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and fully cooked through.
Remove from oven, let cool for 5 minutes, and sprinkle with dried parsley, if desired.
To serve, enjoy chicken tenders with additional honey dijon dressing as a dip or your favorite condiment.
